Being a musician in a town known as the “live music capital of the world” is a wonderful thing, but in spite of that..or maybe because of it, it’s incredibly tough to get yourself noticed. On top of all of the creative elements that go into making your music heard, you’ve also got to put yourself in the right spots..places you can be found. I came home to Austin from LA this fall thinking that, with national television exposure, I’d be able to play everywhere I’ve always wanted. Reality is, if it weren’t for Tammy I wouldn’t be working. Tammy Miranda truly an amazing woman who gives every bit of 150% plus to the people that she represents. I have watched her juggle phones calls, texts and emails all at the same time. She is a multi-tasking machine and she keeps it all straight! I have watched her work for nothing to help someone get started. There are not too many people these days who would donate as much time as she has to launch someone else’s career. But I can see how important it is to her to see these artists succeed in an age where so many just never make it.
